Well situated in the center of Poznań, Hampton By Hilton Poznan Old Town provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

The property has a good location, very central. The room was silent, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was nice, very good "scrambled eggs" and "twarożek". The part I didn't like is the entrance/ hall and also the dining area, which is covered top to bottom in dark gray stone that gives tomb/bunker vibe. Also, there is no fridge or vanity kit in the room.

Super hotel! It’s not right in the city center but only a 5-minute taxi ride away. There’s also a big shopping mall nearby, which was very convenient. Great value overall!

FAQs about hotels in Poznań

City Where The Country Was Born

One of Poland’s oldest cities and a birthplace of the Polish nation, Poznan is the capital city of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region. Famous for international trade fairs, high quality shopping and popular festivals, this city is on the rise!

Its colorful medieval Old Town flourishes with dozens of bars, cafés and pubs open until the early hours of the morning. During warm days, you can sit in one of the pretty beer gardens and admire the architecture and the world going by.

For something different, check out Europe’s only steam-hauled passenger train and ride to Greater Poland National Park. Alternatively, visit the reconstructed brewery and shop, as the Old Brewery is now one of the world’s best shopping malls.

Poznan lies halfway between Berlin and Warsaw, perfectly combining the old and the new, from Ostrow Tumski with its beautiful St. Peter’s and Paul’s Cathedral, to the glass and steel of Poznan International Fair and the city's skyscrapers.

Booking.com has a wide range of accommodations in Poznan to fit all your needs, from convenient hotels, to stylish apartments and budget hostels. So whenever you happen to arrive at Poznan Lawica Airport, you’re only minutes away from exploring this fascinating city.

Lovely city in Poland to spend the weekend.

Lovely city in Poland to spend the weekend. Just enough attractions to keep you busy for a 48-hour trip. The old main square is the main attraction with all the beautiful colourful buildings. You do feel like you have been transported back in time to a fairytale. Other things to do - the basilica nearby, the observation deck at the castle and the old brewery complex (now a modern shopping complex). In general, just a lovely place to stroll around. Also, do not miss seeing the mechanical goats in the main square everyday at midday. Drinks and food fairly cheap, which also makes it a good value stay. I can imagine it is lovely at Christmas - but equally beautiful in spring, when I visited.

You only need 2-3 days there to see everything. Good train links as I went to Berlin from here and back again. The old town is pretty and easy to walk around without transport. I did use the main train line to reach the citadel park and it was 90p. Cheap compared to England as we had 2 hot drinks and 4 doughnuts for £5 in the station. The shopping centres in the station and old brewery were good. Wasn't there long enough to look at trams and get used to them. It was very quiet in February and there was hardly anyone about.

A very nice, clean, quiet city. Interesting historical places and museums. Very easy to get around and safe. It would have been much better if there were signs in English and English scriptions in museums

Poznań’s historic heart lies in its Old Town, centered around the beautiful Stary Rynek (Old Market Square), which is surrounded by colorful merchant houses, cafes, and restaurants. The Ratusz (Town Hall), with its iconic clock and two mechanical goats that butt heads every noon, is a must-see landmark. Nearby, the Poznań Cathedral on Ostrów Tumski Island, one of Poland's oldest cathedrals, offers a glimpse into the city's deep religious and cultural history.

An easy to explore city with a beautiful old town that has been completely pedestrianised. Be sure to try the amazing traditional food at the restaurant Wiejskie Jadlo - but go early or have a reservation, as its busy in the evening. It is super easy to walk the city - the cobblestone streets are well maintained and the sidewalks are wide. Great shopping and lots of restaurants and cafés to choose from.

Thé flat was shiny Thé location (10 minutes by foot from thé city centre and about 15 minutes by foot from thé bus and railway station) in a pedestrian street with lots of stores Thé décoration was very nice M'y Host answered very quickly to any question and acceptéd that I leave thé flat later than convinced Hé was speaking english, which IS rare in Poland The flat wasn't too warm, even during hot weather. So it enables me to sleep.

Boutique hotel with personal attention for their guests. It was nice to find in the room hand written welcome letter from the hotel team. High standard of the rooms. Hotel restaurant specialises in Italian cuisine. Very good location, really close to Stary Browar shopping mall and main pedestrian street Polwiejska, that leads you directly to old town district. Easy accessible from bus & railway station by tram.
